6sense combines business data, buying signals and predictive models to help revenue teams decide which accounts deserve attention. Its central question is different from simply finding more contacts: which businesses appear relevant now, what evidence supports that judgment and what should a seller or marketer do next? A useful evaluation separates a model’s account priority from a confirmed buyer need, then measures whether the resulting decisions improve the team’s work.

01 / ProductPredictive intelligence adds context to an account list

6sense predictive intelligence combines buying signals with historical CRM, marketing and other data to assess fit and buying stage. Those outputs are predictions intended to support prioritization. They do not mean a named person has requested contact or that every account in a high-priority segment will buy.

Sales Intelligence surfaces account and buying-group context in the seller’s existing environment, including CRM, sales engagement tools and a browser extension. The product page also describes RevvyAI for conversational account questions. The practical value depends on whether those explanations help a representative understand why an account matters now.

Intelligent Workflows for Sales supports acquiring, enriching and activating account and contact data with filters and conditional logic. This connects prioritization to a concrete resource decision: which missing contacts or fields are worth purchasing and maintaining. A model score and a data acquisition action are related but separately reviewable steps.

02 / AudienceA fit for coordinated account-based work

A company selling a complex B2B product may have more target accounts than its team can research well. Marketing and sales can each maintain different lists and disagree about which signals matter. 6sense is worth investigating when the organization wants a shared basis for account priority and has enough operational discipline to act on it consistently.

The fit is less clear for a business whose main problem is a small or poorly defined market. Predictive prioritization cannot create a credible customer profile from an unclear product proposition. The team should first identify the business characteristics that matter and distinguish unavailable information from evidence of poor fit.

The HubSpot blueprint is relevant when the core decision concerns the CRM and marketing system that manages existing customer interactions. The Gong blueprint focuses on evidence generated during sales conversations. 6sense adds an earlier account-priority perspective that should complement, rather than silently override, what the customer later says directly.

03 / WorkflowA proposed account-priority pilot with a comparison group

Imagine a fictional enterprise software vendor with a defined list of manufacturing accounts. This proposed pilot evaluates which accounts the team should research first. Keep the initial market and seller capacity fixed so the experiment does not confuse a change in prioritization with a larger budget or a different product offer.

Prepare company identities and ownership carefully. A corporate group may contain several operating businesses, while different websites can refer to the same account. Review a sample of those relationships before interpreting account-level signals. A strong signal attributed to the wrong subsidiary can lead to a plausible but irrelevant sales approach.

Compare the model’s priorities with the team’s existing selection method. Preserve a comparable set of accounts selected under the previous process and record why each account entered either group. The purpose is to learn whether the new context improves decisions, not to prove that the vendor’s preferred segment inevitably performs better.

For each selected account, ask the seller to inspect the explanation and the available evidence. Separate fit, recent activity and an inferred buying stage. A manufacturer may fit the ideal customer profile but show no timely reason for contact; another may show activity around a related topic that does not match the product being offered.

Acquire missing contacts only after confirming that the account warrants work. Use the documented workflow filters and conditional logic to avoid repeatedly purchasing records already present in the CRM. Keep contact acquisition separate from permission to send a message, and carry existing exclusions into any subsequent engagement process.

Prepare an account brief that explains the business relevance without claiming knowledge of an individual’s private intentions. A useful opening might ask how the company is handling a relevant operational challenge. It should not state that a particular person researched a topic unless that person has directly supplied that information.

Collect seller feedback before judging conversion. Record incorrect entity matches, irrelevant signals, genuinely new context and accounts that remain uncertain. Later, compare qualified opportunities and progression using the same definitions across groups. A higher activity count is insufficient if it mainly reflects more speculative outreach or duplicated work.

Include accounts with seasonal demand, a recent acquisition and little public data. These cases reveal how well the prioritization transfers beyond the obvious examples. The pilot should end with a clearer account-selection rule and an understood cost of supporting it, even if the conclusion is that some segments need a different approach.

04 / PricingPredictive access and data credits are separate choices

Commercial basis from 6sense pricing and purchase information, consulted 22 September 2026. Quoted and usage charges require confirmation.

The Sales Intelligence pricing page lists configurations combining the product with data credits, Predictive AI or both. It directs buyers to a demo rather than publishing a monetary tariff. Confirm the required configuration instead of treating every Sales Intelligence seat as equivalent.

The single-license documentation explains that credits support acquiring and exporting data, while Predictive enables the associated scoring capabilities. Lite access does not permit contact purchasing or export. A person’s ability to see a dashboard therefore does not establish that they can perform the acquisition step in the proposed workflow.

The official Free Plan discontinuation notice states that access ended on 12 August 2026 and new free registrations are unavailable. Paid subscriptions were unaffected. Some public navigation still refers to getting started free; the explicit dated notice is the relevant availability boundary for a new evaluation.

05 / DistinctionsShared account context can align separate teams

The strongest distinction to investigate is whether marketing and sales can use the same explanation of account priority. A score alone rarely resolves disagreement. A useful account brief shows why the company fits, which observations changed and what action is proportionate to the evidence. That gives the teams something concrete to discuss.

The connection to data acquisition also makes the product more than a dashboard. If a team can reserve enrichment spending for accounts it has a reason to work, the prioritization affects a real operating cost. This is an analytical possibility to test, not a claim that the platform will automatically reduce data spending.

Predictive models can reveal patterns that are difficult to inspect manually across a large account set. Yet historical success can also reflect where the organization previously concentrated its effort. The proposed comparison group helps the team examine whether the new selection adds useful information beyond familiar accounts and existing seller judgment.

Workflow logic gives operations teams a place to express practical boundaries. A priority account might still be excluded because an opportunity is already active, another team owns the relationship or the available contacts are unsuitable. Those conditions should be part of the operating process rather than informal knowledge held by one representative.

06 / QuestionsAsk what a signal establishes and how it can be challenged

Which entity does the signal describe? Review corporate hierarchies, regional subsidiaries and shared domains in the target market. A signal can be correctly observed yet incorrectly interpreted for the account being worked. Ask the vendor to explain the matching process on examples that resemble the organization’s real customer structure.

How much historical data is useful for the predictive configuration, and which business changes affect its relevance? A new market, pricing model or product can alter the relationship between past wins and future opportunities. The buyer should understand how the evaluation will handle that shift rather than assume the existing model is universally applicable.

What does the team do when a seller disagrees with a recommendation? Capture the reason and preserve it with the account. Repeatedly resurfacing a known unsuitable account can erode trust even if many other suggestions are useful. Feedback should help distinguish weak data from an appropriate model result that is operationally inapplicable.

What exactly consumes the shared data budget? The workflow page describes a common credit pool across acquisition and enrichment uses, but contract terms determine the purchased allowance and applicable charges. Review the proposed mix of automated and seller-triggered work so one busy process does not unexpectedly consume capacity intended for another.

07 / DecisionChoose a measurable account decision before a broad rollout

6sense is worth evaluating when account selection is a meaningful bottleneck and the organization can coordinate its response to better information. Start with one segment, a fixed research capacity and a clear comparison method. Inspect account identity and the reasons behind priority before using the output to trigger additional activity.

Use a paid evaluation or the vendor’s current sales route, and scope Predictive and credit entitlements explicitly. A successful pilot gives the team a more useful explanation of where to spend attention, with known limits and a budget matched to the resulting work. It does not require treating every inferred signal as a confirmed buying intention.
