Unify combines prospect discovery, account research, enrichment and sales sequences in a conversational interface. A seller can ask for a particular kind of account, investigate why it might fit and prepare outreach without moving between separate data products. The meaningful choice is how much of that process to automate: finding plausible prospects is different from deciding that a person should receive a message.

In brief
  1. 01The offer AI agents connected to company data, buying signals and multichannel sales engagement.
  2. 02The fit Sellers who need repeatable research and a controlled handoff from account selection to contact.
  3. 03The scope Current public product and commercial sources; no outbound campaign was sent or conversion claim independently tested.

01 / ProductAn agent sits between prospect data and sales execution

The current product overview brings data, signals, sequences and reporting into one workflow. Unify is a go-to-market application rather than a general agent framework. Its unit of work is an account or prospect that may progress into a sales conversation. That focus makes CRM context and the provenance of research more important than how fluently the agent answers an isolated prompt.

The Agents page describes natural-language list building, account research, qualification and personalised copy. These operations depend on different evidence. A company description can establish industry; a recent hiring announcement may suggest a change; neither proves budget or permission to contact an individual. Treat the output as a proposed sales hypothesis that needs review.

Unify advertises access to multiple external data providers inside the same interface. Consolidation can reduce the effort of joining results by hand, but it also makes source visibility a useful acceptance criterion. When two providers disagree about a job title, the seller needs a way to recognise the conflict instead of presenting an old role as current.

02 / AudienceA practical fit for sellers with a defined account profile

Unify suits teams that already know whom they want to serve and can describe the evidence that makes an account relevant. A narrow campaign for organisations adopting a particular operating model is easier to assess than a request for every possible buyer. The team should have a reason to prioritise each account that survives removal of the AI-generated prose.

Compare Clay when the main job is assembling an enrichment and research process, and Outreach when the central decision is how to operate sales engagement across an existing organisation. The useful comparison is where research ends and the execution system begins. Buying overlapping tools can leave two different definitions of account ownership and campaign status.

A team with incomplete exclusion lists should first repair its operating data. Existing customers, open opportunities, former contacts and people who declined outreach need clear treatment. Faster list creation makes those defects more visible; it does not resolve them. Choose an owner for the input rules before measuring the number of prospects the agent can produce.

03 / WorkflowProposed workflow: investigate one narrowly defined account set

Begin with a small, invented campaign brief and an approved set of business records. Specify the target industry, geography, required evidence and exclusions. Ask the agent for an account list with a short explanation of fit and a supporting source for each material claim. Keep unknowns visible rather than allowing a plausible answer to fill every field.

Review a handful of accounts manually before enrichment. Separate objective attributes from interpretation: a public announcement is evidence that an event occurred; the conclusion that it creates demand for your product remains a hypothesis. Reject accounts that match a keyword but fail the actual use case. This gives the next stage a better input than a larger unexamined list.

The sequencing description connects research with email, call and social steps. Draft one sequence around the verified reason for contacting each account. Check names, products, dates and the proposed next step. A distinctive message should explain relevance without implying private knowledge of someone’s priorities or exaggerating a weak signal.

Keep sending disabled during the initial evaluation. Compare the proposed campaign with the CRM’s current owners and exclusion rules, then have a seller approve the recipients and wording. Check how replies, bounces and manual tasks change the sequence state. A good handoff should make it difficult for an already-engaged account to receive a contradictory parallel campaign.

Only then consider Plays, which can trigger research, enrichment and engagement from signals. Start with a review checkpoint and one trigger. Deliberately repeat the same input event to inspect duplicate handling, and change an account’s eligibility before the next run. This is a proposed evaluation of the workflow, not a test Sequenced has performed.

Evaluate accepted research, recipient accuracy and useful conversations separately. A high volume of completed tasks can coexist with poor account selection. Record why reviewers rejected an account or rewrote a claim; those corrections reveal whether the bottleneck lies in the data, the brief or the application’s interpretation.

04 / PricingSeat subscriptions and credits have different jobs

The pricing page lists USD monthly seat plans alongside a custom Business offer. Free includes limited credits and up to three seats. Base is $20 per seat per month with 800 credits, and Pro is $60 with 2,400. These are monthly billed figures, not annual equivalents.

Pro lists read-only Salesforce and HubSpot sync; Business lists read-write sync, signal-triggered automation and managed mailboxes. A pilot that depends on writing campaign outcomes into the CRM or running automated Plays must verify that entitlement. The cheapest seat is not a substitute for the relevant execution permissions.

Credits meter data and AI activity rather than completed deals. The page says paid top-ups enter a shared pool and unused purchased credits can carry over for up to twelve months. Credit-consuming actions pause once balances are exhausted, although a step already running can finish. Build an estimate from the actual mix of research and enrichment, with a separate allowance for rejected prospects.

05 / DistinctionsContext can travel from research into the first touch

The interesting design choice is continuity between account discovery and engagement. Instead of exporting a spreadsheet and rebuilding the reasoning in another application, the seller can carry the same research into message preparation. That reduces one handoff, but makes it important to keep the evidence accessible when a draft is reviewed or questioned later.

Unify’s product pages publish reply-rate and productivity improvements. Those are vendor-reported results from particular datasets or customers, not a forecast for a new team. An evaluation should hold the audience and offer reasonably steady while examining whether research quality improves. More personal-sounding copy is not itself evidence of better targeting or a stronger commercial outcome.

06 / QuestionsResolve data conflicts and automation boundaries before scaling

The current offer includes self-service plans, so an older quote-only description can mislead buyers. At the same time, features shown on a broad product page may sit behind Business access. Ask for the actual workspace entitlements, credit rules and CRM write permissions that apply to your proposed campaign, especially when moving from an individual trial to team automation.

Another open question is how the agent handles missing evidence. Give it an account with sparse public information and an outdated contact record. The useful response is an explicit gap or a request for review, rather than a fabricated trigger. Inspect the source and timestamp behind any claim that a buyer is ready to act.

07 / DecisionSelect a bounded sales job before adding more automation

The purchase decision should follow the work you need completed: research preparation, a coordinated engagement process or signal-triggered execution. Those jobs have different plan requirements and different failure costs. Establish one that can be reviewed in ordinary sales language before expanding the scope.

01

A seller needs better preparation

Trial one defined account set and compare the accepted research with the time spent checking it. Keep the source trail attached to proposed messages.

Pilot research
02

A team needs automated Plays

Scope Business access, CRM writes and exclusions before enabling a signal-triggered sequence. Test duplicates and stop conditions with harmless records.

Validate execution
03

The target customer is still unclear

Clarify the account profile and qualifying evidence first. Generating a larger list will not explain why those accounts should care about the offer.
